Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. About this website
This website is operated by Medi Diary (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/983392/07) ("Medi Diary", "we"). It provides information about the Medi Diary platform, a patient waiting list for the pilot programme ahead of the September 2026 public launch, and a partner programme. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to join the waiting list or apply as a partner. Children and other dependants are added to Medi Diary by a parent or guardian at onboarding, not through this website.
3. Not medical advice
Content on this website, including descriptions of Solis AI and product illustrations, is for general information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Product screens are illustrative mockups using fictional people and data. Solis AI is a companion, not a doctor. Always confirm with your clinician. In an emergency, call 112 (mobile) or 10177.
4. The waiting list and partner applications
Joining the waiting list is free and creates no obligation on either side. A place on the list does not guarantee pilot access or launch availability; invitations are sent in waves. Partner applications are reviewed at our discretion, acceptance is confirmed in a separate agreement, and partner materials in the portal are confidential.
5. Paid services, payments, refunds and delivery
The only paid product currently offered through this website is the optional, once-off medical records-gathering service (R114.99 incl. VAT), described on the waiting-list page. Payments are processed securely by PayFast (Pty) Ltd; we do not see or store your card details. All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT.
Refunds, cancellations and delivery are set out in our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: you may cancel for a full refund before we begin gathering your records; the service is delivered electronically into your Medi Diary account; and we begin only once payment and your signed records-release authorisation are both in place.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse this website: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, scrape personal information, submit false information, or use the forms to send anything unlawful. We may decline or remove submissions that break these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The Medi Diary name, logo, the Solis AI name, and all website content are the property of Medi Diary (Pty) Ltd. Elements of the underlying digital health system are protected under South African provisional patent 2025/10081. You may not reproduce or reuse materials without written permission.
8. Translations
The language menu provides automatic translations for convenience. Translations may contain errors, and the English version of every page, including these terms, is the official version.
9. Availability and liability
The website is provided "as is" and we may change or withdraw content at any time, including dates and features of unreleased phases, which are plans rather than promises. To the extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have in law that cannot be limited by agreement.
10. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website is handled under our Privacy Policy and POPIA. Our Information Officer is Janice Naidoo: privacy@medidiary.tech · 060 919 3626.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update them here with a new date. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction. Contact: hello@medidiary.tech. Registered office: 83 Millbrook Complex, 2 Segal Road, Halfway Gardens, Gauteng, 1686.
